Almond Oatmeal Cookie Batter Protein Shake
This shake is the stuff dreams are made of. I do not love to cook but I DO love playing around with smoothie recipes and this one is perhaps my best of all time.
Ry is obsessed. I am obsessed. This protein shake seriously tastes like dessert and I am STOKED. 😃
¾ cup skim milk (or milk of choice)
2 scoops vanilla 100% whey isolate protein powder (or protein powder of choice)
1 packet instant oatmeal, maple and brown sugar flavour with flaxseeds (or oatmeal of choice)
1 tbs vanilla almond butter
¾ cup ice
Add everything into blender, putting the ice in last, and blend to smoothie consistency.
Serve and enjoy immediately!
You can substitute almost every ingredient on the list for this recipe, but the reason I included the specific flavors is because those are the ones I always use when I make the smoothie, and I’m not sure how much substitutions would change the flavor.
